Baked Salmon With Lemon Garlic Butter Glaze

Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon fillets, 6 ounces each, skin on
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon fine salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 lemon thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill

Method
 

  1. Melt the butter, add the garlic, and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Off the heat, whisk in the lemon zest, lemon juice, honey, and thyme.
  3. Arrange salmon skin side down on a sheet pan, brush with oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Tuck lemon slices around the fillets and brush with half the glaze.
  5. Bake at 450°F for 10 to 12 minutes, pulling at 125°F internal.
  6. Brush the remaining glaze over the hot fillets.
  7. Rest 5 minutes on the pan before serving.
  8. Top with parsley and dill.

Notes

Storage: Refrigerate in an airtight container up to 3 days. Reheat gently at 300°F or in short microwave bursts. Freezes up to 2 months.
